Stepheney Lewis

Stepheney Lewis, 77, of Cedar Falls, died at home on Friday, December 31, 2021.  She was born April 3, 1944 in Fredericktown, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Steve and Mary Vechnak Bertanzetti Tedesco.  Stepheney married Franklin D. Lewis in Pennsylvania, and he preceded her in death on April 14, 2013.  She worked as a waitress for many years and later at Granny Annie's Bakery & Cafe in Cedar Falls.

Stepheney is survived by her four sons and their (spouses), Frank Lewis of Cedar Falls, Ray H. & (Alihah) Lewis, of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, William & (Crystal) Lewis of Clarksville, Tennessee, Robert & (Jennifer) Lewis of Batesville, Indiana; three grandchildren, Haley Lewis and Joseph Kress of Cedar Falls, and Skyler Lewis of Oelwein, Iowa; and three great grandchildren, Sophie, Khloe & Aubrie Lewis.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and sister Nancy Tedesco.

Stepheney was courageous, strong, and kind. Throughout her life she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be dearly missed.
