Keith Jones

Donald Keith Jones, 79, of Cedar Falls, died on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at MercyOne Medical Center in Waterloo. 

Keith was born in Denison, Iowa, on March 3, 1947, the son of Donald and Edna (Kluver) Jones. He grew up in the West Des Moines area and graduated from Valley High School before attending the University of Northern Iowa. On June 1, 1968, Keith married Karen Jeanne Holtkamp in Cedar Falls.

Keith was a real estate appraiser in the Waterloo and Cedar Falls area and the owner and operator of Valuation Services, Inc. in Cedar Falls for many years. He was also a longtime member and officer for the American Society of Appraisers. Keith and Jeanne enjoyed traveling and spent many hours on the road in their camper. He loved to fish and treasured his fishing trips to Canada and time spent outdoors.

Keith is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jeanne Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Edna Jones.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association.
