Chad Robert Jensen

Chad Robert Jensen, 46, of Cedar Falls, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022.  He was born in Waterloo, on November 11, 1975, to Robert and Maureen (Casey) Jensen.  Chad graduated from West High School in 1994, and the University of Northern Iowa in 1999.  In 2000, he married Michele Hanlon and they had two children together, Lauryn and Cooper.  Chad later married Margaret "Maggie" Rooney on November 23, 2017, in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and they had one daughter, Lucy and lived in Cedar Falls.

Chad was preceded in death by his grandparents and mother.  He is survived by his wife, Maggie; children: Lauryn, Cooper and Lucy; father, Bob (Jan) Jensen of Cedar Falls; brothers, Todd (Lisa) of Arizona with their sons Trevor and Spencer; Ryan (Mallory) of Waterloo with their sons Colten and Myles; first wife, Michele (Nick) Taiber; Goldendoodle, Finley; and many other beloved Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, In-laws and cherished friends.

Chad's Celebration of Life will be from 1:30 – 4:00 pm (with a time of sharing beginning at 2:30) on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at Island Park Beach House on Center Street in Cedar Falls with a Public Viewing from 12-1:00 pm at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home.  Please honor him by dressing comfortably and bringing memories to share with his children!  Memorials may be directed to the Family and condolences can be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com .

Chad enjoyed fishing, golfing and watching Sunday football with a pot of his Chili cooking.  He liked music, feeding the birds, and travel.  He was always up for helping coach his kids sports, though Chad could be a bit "overly competitive" at times he always cheered the loudest and was their biggest fan in the stands.  He loved the Hawkeyes and the Bears, though his children and family were cherished above all else.
