Yvonne Riggs

Yvonne A. Riggs, 85, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, November 26, 2016, at the Western Home Communities Elizabeth Martin Health Center. She was born September 20, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of John E. and Josephine (Lutgen) Nosko. Yvonne was a graduate of Waterloo East High School and was a Production Scheduler for John Deere & Company in Waterloo for 25 years. She was past board member of the Rensselaer Russell House Museum in Waterloo.

Yvonne is survived by her three sons, David Riggs of Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, Jeffery (Priscilla) Riggs of Rio Rancho, New Mexico and Craig Riggs of Florida; her daughter-in-law, Kathy (Michael) Barnes, of Ankeny, Iowa; eight grandchildren, three step grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Todd and Brian Riggs; two grandsons, Nick and Jason Riggs, and her brother, John E. Nosko, Jr.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 2, 2016, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls, with burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Waterloo.
