WILLIAM L. "BILL" KERBEY was born February 25, 1920 in Red Oak, Iowa, the son of Edgar and May (Leonard) Kerbey. He married Jane Martin on June 19, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois. Bill served in the China-Burma-India Theatre of Operations with the U.S. Army Air Corps during WW II. He graduated from the University of Iowa in 1942 with a Business Degree and did postgraduate study at Northwestern University in Chicago. Bill was a stockbroker for 37 years with A. C. Allyn & Co. in Chicago; Frances I. Dupont Brokerage Firm in Waterloo, Iowa; and G.H. Walker Co. and Blunt, Ellis & Loewi Inc., both in Waterloo, retiring in 1985. He died Friday, March 21, 2003, at his home in Cedar Falls, Iowa, at 83 years of age. Bill is survived by his wife, Jane, of Cedar Falls; his son, John Kerbey of Houston, Texas; his two daughters, Janet (Michael) Doiron of Duncan, Oklahoma and Carolyn (Ray) Lestina of Park Ridge, Illinois; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 25 at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial at Fairview Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls.  Memorials may be directed to the American Parkinson's Disease Association, Midwest Chapter, 2050 Pfingsten Rd. - Suite 127, Glenview, IL 60025.
