Wayne D. Latwesen, 71, of New Hartford, died Monday, April 3, 2017 at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls.  Wayne was born November 25, 1945 in Waverly, Iowa, the son of Edwin & Martha (Mundfrom) Latwesen.  He married Barbara Crew April 19, 1968 in Jesup, Iowa.  Wayne worked at the Dike-New Hartford Coop for 35 years then farmed with his daughter and son-in-law.

Survivors include his wife, Barb, of New Hartford; his daughter, Connie (Brad) Feckers of Shell Rock, Iowa; his son, Steven (Marlas) Latwesen of New Hartford; six grandchildren, Dalton, McKenzie and Brady Feckers, and Kelsey, Sydney and Parker Latwesen; and his sister, Jan (Mark) Sawyer of Waterloo.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and two step-fathers, Jack Powell and Martin Miller.

Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 7, 2017 at the New Hartford United Methodist Church under the direction of 1st Baptist Church of New Hartford.  Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in New Hartford.  Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls and one hour prior to service time at the church.  Memorials may be directed to the family.  Condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
