Wanda Bowles

Wanda M. Bowles, 71, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, December 23, 2016 at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo. She was born January 2, 1945 in Cedar Falls, the daughter of Wilbur and Margaret (Baker) Benham. Wanda was raised by her sister Shirley Minikus. Before her retirement she was a clerk for Fareway Groceries.

She is survived by two sons, Ty (Tammy) Lynch, of Genoa, Illinois and JD (Leslie) Lynch, of Reinbeck; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild; three brothers, Rod (Linda) Minikus, of Waterloo, Blain (Terri) Benham, of Denver, Iowa and Barry Benham, of Waverly; two sisters, Pam (Chuck) Austin, of Denver, Iowa and Cindy (Dwight) Hansen, of Bloomington, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters and brothers, one son, David Lynch and one daughter, Tanya Lynch.

Service of Remembrance will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home with visitation from 9:00 a.m. to service time. Memorials may be directed to the family. Condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
