Virginia M. Perry

Virginia M. Perry, 85, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, January 12, 2013, at Western Home Communities Elizabeth Martin Health Center. Virginia was born June 18, 1927, in Northwood, Iowa, the daughter of Glenn & Beva (Godfrey) Pixley. She married Russell Perry October 28, 1945 in Northwood. Virginia was a secretary at Albert Lea Packing Company, a few local physicians offices and then was the secretary to the superintendent in the Aplington Community School District. Survivors include her husband, Russell, of Cedar Falls; two sons, Roger (Barbara) Perry, of Phoenix, Arizona and Wayne Perry, of Homer Glen, Illinois; four grandchildren, Michael (Patti) Adams, Rebecca Volkmar, Margaret (Kris) Lindskog and Byron (Amber) Perry, and five great grandchildren. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, John and Robert Pixley. Private family services will be held at Fredsville Lutheran Church.
