Virginia W Nibbelink

Virginia Wynona Young Nibbelink, 46, of Holland, Iowa, was born to eternity on Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at Oakview Nursing Home and Care Center in Conrad, Iowa, while under the care of Iowa Hospice. She was born October 25, 1963, on K I Sawyer AFB in Sand Township, Michigan, the daughter of Ronald and Joan McIntyre Young. She married Steven Nibbelink on January 21, 1989 in Mount Prospect, Illinois. Mrs. Nibbelink earned a BA in Psychology from Evangel College in Springfield, Missouri, and also attended Central Bible College, where she became proficient in sign language. She was certified by the state of Iowa as an interpreter and worked for AEA 267 in several school districts, including Waterloo, Aplington-Parkersburg and Cedar Falls.

Survived by: her husband, Steve, of Holland; her daughter, Janae, of Aurora, Colo; two sons, Gerrit and Christopher, of Holland; her parents, Ron and Joan Young, of Oscoda, Michigan; two brothers, Samuel (Penny) Young of Lafayette, California, and Timothy Young of Grundy Center; and one sister, Elizabeth (William Parks) Young, of Parker, Colorado.

Preceded in death by her grandparents.

Services: 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 16, 2010, at New Hope Fellowship in Holland. The family will be present one hour before the services. Her body was cremated. Memorials may be directed to the family. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home &Cremation Service, Cedar Falls, is assisting the family.
