Violette M Soles

VIOLETTE M. SOLES was born August 16, 1905, in Fern, Iowa, the daughter of Byron and Theresa (Juel) Soles. She was a graduate of Iowa State Teachers College (UNI) and was a teacher for many years in Wellsburg and Decorah, Iowa. Violette died Thursday, April 27, 2000, at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home, at 94 years of age.

She is survived by her sister, Thora Peel of Galesburg, Illinois, and her two nephews, Jack Peel and his wife Regina of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Roger Peel and his wife Rebecca of Denver, Colorado.  Violette was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Vera B. Soles.

Funeral services were10:30 Tuesday, May 2, 2000, at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home Chapel, with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery in Parkersburg, Iowa.  Memorials may be directed to Jack Peel, 3906 Mesa Verde N. E., Albuquerque, NM  87110.
