VIOLA IRENE
MURPHY was born October 25, 1911, at Ackley, Iowa, the daughter of Fred and Bertha (Kothenbeutal) Fistler. She married Anthony Murphy, March 21, 1926, in Ackley, Iowa. He preceded her in death January 21, 1971. Viola died Thursday, November 25, 2004 at the Cedar Falls Health Care Center at the age of 93 years.
Survivors include two grandchildren, Peg (Dick) Palmer of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Doug (Jill) Danielsen of Cedar Falls, Iowa; two great grandchildren, Jared and Zachary Danielsen and three great great grandchildren, Madison, Dylan and Brooklyn Danielsen and one son in law, Elvin Danielsen of Traer, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two daughter, Alice Danielsen and Mary Harris, 6 brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services were 1:30 p.m. Monday, November 29, 2004, at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the family.
