Viola M Lindaman

Viola M. Lindaman, 99, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at the Western Home Communities Elizabeth Martin Health Center in Cedar Falls.  She was born June 27, 1910 near Clarksville, Iowa, the daughter of Julius and Sophia (Nordman) Ringleb.  Viola married John Lindaman on February 24, 1938 at the Little Brown Church near Nashua, Iowa.  He preceded her in death on August 14, 1965.  Viola was employed in Food Service at Finchford Community School for many years and at the University of Northern Iowa for twenty-five years.

Survivors include two sons, Marvin Lindaman of Cedar Falls and Ronald (Glenyce) Lindaman of Panama City, Florida, five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Viola was preceded in death by her parents and husband, three brothers, Alfred, Frank and Julius Ringleb, and three sisters, Meta Winkleman, Lela Schrage and Agnes Heine.

Services were Saturday, February 27, 2010, at Nazareth Lutheran Church Chapel in Cedar Falls, with burial at Lynwood Cemetery in Clarksville.  Memorials may be directed to the Western Home Communities or the family.  Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com .
