VEVA E. DEBOWER

as born September 3, 1922 in New Hartford, Iowa, the daughter of Charley and Harriet (McCart) McKinder. She married Glenn E. DeBower February 1, 1948 at Dike, Iowa. He preceded her in death November 9, 1994. Veva died Saturday, August 20, 2005 at Allen Memorial Hospital, Waterloo, Iowa at the age of 82 years.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry L. (Roberta) DeBower of Waterloo, Iowa and Scott A. (Marguerite) DeBower of Cedar Falls, Iowa; two daughters, Marjorie Weseman and Christine DeBower both of Cedar Falls, Iowa; three grandsons and one brother, Kieth McKinder of Tujunga, California. Veva was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Funeral services were 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home with inurnment at a later date in Elmwood Cemetery, Dike, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the family.
