Vesta Verlaine Gottry-Hanson, 79, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, died Thursday, July 29, 2010, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo.

Among local survivors are two daughters, Renee (Joseph) Wisher, of Hudson and Patricia (Tim) Gillen, of Cedar Falls.

Inurnment will be take place in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls is assisting the family.
