VERNA MAE LUDERS,
86, of New Hartford, died Saturday, April 9, 2005, at the Cedar Falls Health Care Center. She was born June 7, 1918, in Wesley, daughter of Walter and Anna Schorie Smith. She married Harold Luders Nov. 12, 1939, in New Hartford.
Verna retired from Hinson Manufacturing after 25 years of service.
Survivors include her husband, Harold of New Hartford; two daughters, Peggy (Frank) Grendler and Sharon (Daniel) Fix, both of Cedar Falls; a son, Ron (Pam) of Cedar Falls; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Kenneth Smith.
Services were 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2005, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.
