Verity "Dew" Hansen

Verity "Dew" Hansen, 86, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at NewAldaya Lifescapes in Cedar Falls. Dew was born November 22, 1929 in Clarksville, Iowa, the daughter of Edward & Elsie (Riden) Randolph. She married Arthur K. Hansen January 16, 1948 in Cedar Falls. He preceded her in death July 13, 2002. Dew graduated from Cedar Falls High School and worked in customer service at Porter's Camera Store for 28 years, retiring in 1995. She belonged to Sartori Hospital Auxiliary and Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two sons, Bud (Sue) Hansen of Cedar Falls and Mike (Gail) Hansen of Lake Mills, Iowa; five grandchildren, Jenny (Sanjay) Das, Lia (Ronen) Cohen, Andy Hansen, Blake (Dawn) Hansen and Todd (Monica) Hansen, and eight great grandchildren.

Dew was preceded in death by her parents and husband; a granddaughter, Betsy Hansen; four brothers, Jim, Arley, Mike and Wayne Randolph and four sisters, Maude Hunnicutt, Myrtle Lynes, Laura Koehn and Bernice Randolph.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 29, 2016 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church with inurnment in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens at a later date.
