Timothy L Nielsen

Timothy Lee Nielsen, 55, of Janesville, Iowa, died Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at his home in Janesville. He was born April 20,1956 in Cedar Falls, the son of Donald L. and Bernardine (Heath) Nielsen. Tim married Rochelle Rothfus August 12, 1989 in Cedar Falls. He worked for Benton Sand and Gravel in Cedar Falls for many years.

Tim is survived by his wife, Rochelle, of Janesville; one son, Nick Nielsen, of Janesville; one daughter, Madison (Dustin Kiefer) Nielsen, of Cedar Falls; his father, Donald Nielsen, of Waterloo; two god daughters, Nicole Bird and Samantha Highberger, both of Janesville; one god grandchild, Brexton Bird, of Janesville; one sister, Christine (Steve) Squires, of Hudson; three brothers, Mike Nielsen of Waterloo, Jeff (Julie) Nielsen of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Tony (Erika) Nielsen, of Waterloo.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, June 25, 2011, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial at Hillside Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls.  Visitation will be 4—8:00 pm Friday, and one hour before the service, at the funeral home.  Memorials may be directed to the family.  Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
