Timothy Hansen

Timothy "Tim" George Hansen, 57, of Hudson, died Saturday, July 30, 2016, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, He was born October 2, 1958 in Cedar Falls the son of Roger "Stub" and Sharlene (Trego) Hansen. Tim married Donna Rae Jensen April 26, 1980 in Hudson. He is a past member of Iowa National Guard in Waterloo. Tim graduated from Dike High School in 1977. He worked for Quaker Oats in Cedar Rapids as a machinist. Tim loved wood working and was a big fan of the Cubs and Nascar racing. His grandsons were his pride and joy.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Hansen, of Hudson; two daughters, Kimberly (Logan) Bemus, of Waterloo and Emily (Jeffrey) Beckmann, of Cedar Falls; four grandsons, Cole and Lincoln Bemus and Wyatt and Ellis Beckmann; two brothers, Irenius "Rusty" (Marcia) Hansen, of Cedar Falls and Randy (Colleen) Hansen, of Waterloo. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Fredsville Lutheran Church. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, in Cedar Falls. Memorials may be directed to the family.
