THOMAS V. MCGRAW, 81, of Cedar Falls died Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa from complications following a heart attack. Thomas was born October 30, 1923 at Ottumwa, Iowa the son of Thomas P. & Verna (Ross) McGraw. He married P. Patricia Manns February 15, 1948 at Ottumwa. Thomas served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He retired from John Deere & Company as a tool and die maker on October 30, 1987. Thomas was a fifty year member of the Masonic Lodge, a member of Eastern Star and White Shrine, and a member of Twin Town Barbershop Chorus. Survivors include his wife, Patricia of Cedar Falls; three sons, David (Kathy) McGraw of Cedar Falls, Mark (Chris) McGraw of Walcott, Iowa, Timothy McGraw of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Suzanne (Ron) Jaeger of Farmington, Minnesota, Dr. Debbie Gibbs and her husband Paul Gault of Washington, Iowa; twelve grandchildren, Joanna, Alecia & Daniel Jaeger, John & J.R. McGraw, Pricilla (Joey) Svendsen, Krystal Halvorson, Andrew & Elizabeth McGraw, and Ryan, Heather and Whitney Gibbs; two great grandchildren, Holden & Aidan; one brother, Forrest (Margaret) McGraw of Glen Arms, Maryland and one sister, Nona Rae (James) Good of Canton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services were 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2005 at First Christian Church with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.  A public Masonic Service was 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home conducted by Black Hawk Masonic Lodge #65. Memorials may be directed to the church.
