Theresa "Terri" Sullivan

Theresa "Terri" Sullivan, 57, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota after a sudden illness. She was born December 15, 1955 in Cedar Falls, the daughter of Maurice James and Mary Louise (Shimpach) Hagarty. Terri married Tommy Sullivan in Boston, Massachusetts, and they later divorced. She was a 1974 graduate of Columbus High School. Terri was currently working for U.S. Bank in Cedar Falls. Survivors include her daughter, Colleen Mary Sullivan, of Cedar Falls; four sisters, Rosemary (La Vern) Millard of Independence, Iowa, Kathryn (Thomas) Caley, Paulette Hawkenson and Margaret Ackerman, all of Cedar Falls; five brothers, Robert (Janice) Hagarty, James (Kay) Hagarty, Thomas (Cathy) Hagarty, Daniel Hagarty, all of Cedar Falls, and Patrick (Traci) Hagarty of Waterloo. Terri was also a proud aunt and great aunt to 34 nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Terri was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Jacob Lee Hawkenson. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 am Saturday, May 11, 2013, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Wake will be 38:00 pm Friday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, where a 3:00 pm Rosary Service and 7:00 pm Vigil Service will be conducted. Wake also one hour before service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
