Theresa J Harbaugh

Theresa J. Harbaugh, 54, of Waterloo, Iowa, died Monday, March 14, 2011, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo.  She was born March 10, 1957 in Waterloo, the daughter of Lloyd and Jane (Kent) Buls.  Theresa married David R. Harbaugh on August 16, 1980 in Waterloo.  He preceded her in death October 16, 1991.  Theresa graduated from Waterloo Central High School and attended Hawkeye Community College.  She worked in the Human Resources Dept. at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo for eighteen years.

Survivors include two daughters, Sarah (Josh) Amundson and Nicole (Nate Gordon) Harbaugh, both of Waterloo; a son, Michael Harbaugh, of Cedar Falls; her parents, Lloyd and Jane Buls, of Waterloo; five grandchildren, Elizabeth, Macie, Chloe, Sammy and Kaleb; her sister, Barb Powell, of Cedar Falls, and her best friend, Liz Kressig.

Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, David R. Harbaugh; her paternal and maternal grandparents; a brother-in-law, Jack Powell, and her mother-in-law, Betty Harbaugh.

Services will be 10:30 am Friday, March 18, 2011, at Orchard Hill Church in Cedar Falls.  Committal  services will be private.  Visitation will be 4—8:00 pm Thursday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and one hour before service at the church.  Memorials may be directed to the family.  Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
