Terence G. Peacock

Terence G. "Terry" Peacock, 87, of Cedar Falls, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022, at MercyOne Cedar Falls Medical Center, after having two falls, a hospital stay and Hospice.  He was born December 4, 1935 in Cuba City, Wisconsin, the son of Claude A. and Florence Leone (Brewer) Peacock.  Terry was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.   He was an artist and an art teacher for over 30 years with the Cedar Falls Community School System.  Terry enjoyed skiing, fishing, international travel, supporting the Chicago Bears and White Sox, and daily visits to his friend Lisa's chocolate shop in Cedar Falls.

He is survived by his sister, Lynne Gordon and brother in law Jack Kennedy of Twin Lake, Michigan; nephew and niece, Scott Gordon, wife Sue Gordon,  Susan Guinon, husband Mike Guinon; niece Amanda, husband Jake Stover, and nephews, Cody, Tyler and Jordon; great great niece Oakland and nephew Elijah, and his many friends in Cedar Falls.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents and his late brother in law,  Gary Gordon.

Visitation will be 4 - 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2023, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls.  A family grave side service will be held in Cuba City, Wisconsin in spring 2023.
