SuEllen Nicol, 74, Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center.
SuEllen was born December 17, 1949 in Iowa to the late Archibald and Patricia (Brown) Bird. She attended Cedar Falls High School and worked at various businesses in the Cedar Valley until she suffered a stroke many years ago.
SuEllen is survived by her sons, Troy (Kiernan) Nicol and Shad (Jessica) Nicol; daughter-in-law, Angie Nicol; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Mike (Donna) Bird and Gary (Cheryl) Bird; and extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her son, Shawn; and siblings, David Bird and Linda Stover.
The memorial service from SuEllen will be at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 27 from 5:00-6:30 PM at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
