STELLA EMILY CHAPIN, was born on April 25, 1929 in Cedar Falls, Iowa, the daughter of Claude and Susie E. (Dobson) Chapin. She worked for many years as a Bookkeeper and Office Manager for Allbee's Printing in Waterloo. Stella died on Friday, September 4, 1998 at the Cedar Falls Western Home Martin Center at 69 years of age.
She is survived by her sister-in-law Lucille Chapin; five nieces, Linda Fobian and Claudia Meyer of Cedar Falls, Iowa, Linda Bales and Peggy Devincentis of Texas and Kathy Spragy of Florida and four nephews, Ross Chapin of Cedar Falls, Iowa, Dick and Larry Chapin of Texas and Daryl Chapin of Des Moines, Iowa.
Stella was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Maude Brown and her three brothers, Don, Jim and Emmett Chapin.
Services were held on September 8, 1998 at the funeral home, with burial at Mt. Vernon Township Cemetery in Waterloo, Iowa.
