Stanley L. Stickfort, 63, of Stout, Iowa, died at his home of natural causes on Saturday, January 19, 2008. He was born September 12, 1944 in Grundy Center, Iowa, the son of Richard and Elizabeth (Weber) Stickfort. Stanley graduated from Dike High School in 1962 and received his degree in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University in Ames. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era from 1966-1968. Stanley worked for Wayne Claassen Engineering and Surveying in Waterloo and Howard Green in Cedar Rapids. He was presently employed with J & J Metal Spinning in New Hartford.
Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth, of Cedar Falls; one sister, Betty (Rodney) Kendrick, of Parkersburg; one nephew, Shane (Pam) Kendrick, and one niece, Elizabeth (William) Rogers.

Stanley was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2008, at the Stout Gospel Hall in Stout, with interment at Oak Hill Cemetery in Parkersburg. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until service time Friday at the Stout Gospel Hall. Memorials may be directed to the family.
