Stacy Burt

Stacy Burt, 46, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo. He was born August 4, 1970 in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Rick & Jackie (Morelock) Burt. Stacy married Dorothy Livingston on January 8, 1999 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He graduated from Central High School in Waterloo, served in the U.S. Marine Corp during Desert Storm and then worked for Bertch Cabinet Manufacturing.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of Cedar Falls, his five children, Allyson, Mitchell, Talea, Roni and Kinlee, all of Cedar Falls; two grandchildren, Nora and Sawyer; his mother, Jackie (Les Keeling) Burt of Brooklyn, Iowa, his brother, Randy (Linda) Burt of Texas and his sister, Carrie (Rodger Ross) James of Arkansas.

Stacy was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 5, 2016 at Orchard Hill Church in Cedar Falls with Military Honors by Cedar Falls AMVETS Post 49. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and one hour before service time at the church. Memorials may be directed to the family.
