Sigrid Jensen

Sigrid Jensen, 86, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, February 4, 2016, at Sartori Memorial Hospital, Cedar Falls. She was born January 8, 1930 in Varde, Denmark, the daughter of Kristen and Elsa (Hansen) Pedersen. Sigrid married Tage Jensen in Denmark in 1956. She worked for Sartori Memorial Hospital and the Western Home Communities as a nurse's aide for many years. Before her retirement, she was an in house caregiver.

She is survived by two sons, Tony Jensen of Cedar Falls and Johnny (Tammy) Jensen of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; three grandchildren; two brothers, Hans (Inger) Pedersen of Denmark and Vagn (Norma) Pedersen of Cedar Falls, and one sister, Clara (Ib) Larsen, of Denmark.

Sigrid was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Iver Pedersen and two sisters, Irene Jensen and Vera Dinasen.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with inurnment in Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls.
