SHERYL ANN BICKFORD,
49, of Waterloo and formerly of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, April 21, 2005, at her home in Waterloo, Iowa. She was born April 21, 1956, the daughter of Ward W. and Phyllis I. (Button) Bickford at Fort Knox, Kentucky. Sheryl graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1975. She received her Teaching Associate degree from York College, York, Nebraska. Sheryl later furthered her education in Educational Horticultural Science. She was a teacher associate in the Waterloo School system.
Sheryl is survived by her parents, Ward and Phyllis Bickford, of Cedar Falls; three sisters, Renae Kay (Curtis) Baker of Dallas, Texas, Marquisetta A. Bickford of Kansas City, Missouri and Diana M. Hughbanks of Waterloo, Iowa; and four nephews and nieces, Amanda Baker, William Baker, Aaron Hughbanks and Madison Huughbanks.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Oscar and Anna Bickford and her maternal grandparents, Charles and Adelia Button.
Funeral services were Tuesday, April 26, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls. Burial was in Fairview cemetery, Cedar Falls. A memorial will be established.
