Sharon Kay Pint, 75, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, December 31, 2012, at the Western Home Communities Stanard Family Assisted Living Center, Cedar Falls. She was born July 24, 1937 in Huron, South Dakota, the daughter of Roy Glenn and Lenora Elizabeth (Johnson) Potts. Sharon was a graduate of Waterloo West High School, and worked as a machinist at John Deere & Company, was a Dietary Supervisor at Windsor Nursing & Rehab Center, and retired in 2005 from Affina's Medicare Contract Call Center. Survivors include a daughter, Toni (Mike) Pint-Burke, of Waterloo; a son, Dale Pint, of Waterloo; three grandchildren, Alli & Erika Burke, and Zachary Pint; a brother, Larry (Eunice) Potts, of Buckingham, Iowa, and three nephews, Terry, Randy & Tracy Potts. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents. Services will be 10:30 am Saturday, January 5, 2013, at St. Edward Catholic Church in Waterloo, with burial at Hillside Cemetery in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be 46:00 pm Friday, January 4, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with a 6:00 pm Vigil Service, and one hour before service at the church.
