Sharon Elaine Magee

Sharon Elaine Magee, 70, of Cedar Falls, passed away Wednesday April 17, 2024, at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City with loved ones by her side. She was born September 25, 1953, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Elmer and Grace (Gigl) Christensen. Sharon graduated from Cedar Falls High School, Class of 1972. She then attended Hawkeyes Certificate Nursing Assistant Program.

Sharon married Randall "Randy" Magee on July 6, 1996, in Cedar Falls. Her and Randy shared 24 years of marriage before his passing on December 14, 2020. Sharon loved riding motorcycles with her husband Randy. She was an avid dolphin collector, and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sharon was always there to help out her family and friends when needed, and will be greatly missed.

Sharon is survived by her son, Jamie (Rachel) Webb; 5 grandchildren, CJ (Jaymee), Hailey (Tyler) Handberg, Corby (Justin), Candice, and Dillion; 2 great grandchildren, Sam and Savannah; step son, Jay Magee; and brothers, Lynn (Joan) Christensen and Roger (Carla) Christensen.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Randy; beloved dog, Tony; brother, Richard Christensen; and sister, Joann Christensen in infancy.

Sharon's celebration of life will be held on May 18, 2024, from 1-4pm at the AMVETS Post 49, 1934 Irving St. in Cedar Falls. Burial will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions in Sharon's honor may be directed to the Cedar Falls AMVETS Auxiliary Nursing Scholarship.
