Scot Eric Bisbee, 48, of Waterloo, died Monday, November 14, 2016, at UnityPoint Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo. He was born April 27, 1968 in Cedar Falls, Iowa, the son of James "Jim" and Delrose (Stocks) Bisbee. Scot married Michelle Frost on July 16, 1988 in Cedar Falls. He was a 1986 graduate of Cedar Falls High School and graduated from Kirkwood College Culinary School. Scot worked for Village Inn in Waterloo for over 20 years, most recently as the Head Cook.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle Bisbee, of Waterloo; his daughter, Alexis Bisbee, of Waterloo; his father, Jim Bisbee, of Cedar Falls; two brothers, Tom Bisbee of Des Moines, Iowa and Steve Bisbee of Cedar Falls, and his sister, Lisa (Kevin) Curtis, of Waterloo.
Scot was preceded in death by his mother, Delrose Bisbee; his paternal grandparents, Ernest and Ida Bisbee, and his maternal grandparents, Everett and Elsie Stocks.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 18, 2016, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be one hour before services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family. Condolences may be left at
