Sandra K Wilson

Sandra K. "Sandi" Wilson, 72, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo, following a courageous battle with cancer.  Sandi was born October 31, 1937 at Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Wayne H. & Mildred "Mick" (Perrin) Wilson.  She married Darrell R. "Rudy" Grapp November 27, 1955 at New Hartford.  They later divorced.  Sandi was employed as an LPN in the Cedar Valley for over 30 years, including working at the Cedar Falls Western Home and retiring from Cedar Falls Health Care in 2006.

Survivors include five sons, Steve (Diane) Grapp, of Cedar Falls, Stewart (Jo Ellen) Grapp, of Cedar Falls, Scott (Barbara) Grapp, of Waterloo, Darren (Shelli) Grapp, of Cedar Falls, and Derrek Grapp, of Woolstock, Iowa; one daughter, Stacy (Shawn) Weinke, of Waterloo, eleven grandchildren, one great granddaughter, a half brother, Jim Wilson, of California; a half sister, Lolyn Wilkinson, of Twin Bridges, Montana.  Sandi was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and a half sister, Connie Camarata.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 2010 at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home with interment at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens.   Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and for one hour prior to service time Saturday, at the funeral home.  Memorials may be directed to Cedarloo Church of Christ, 3110 Loma, Cedar Falls, or Cedar Valley Hospice.  Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com .
