Sandra Webrand

Sandra "Sandie" Kay Webrand, 69, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, March 9, 2008, at her home. Sandie was born July 24, 1938 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Merle & Maude (Gould) Horner. She married James Webrand November 22, 1963 in Preston, Minnesota. Sandie was employed by the American Red Cross for 36 years, retiring December 31, 1993.

Survivors include her husband, Jim Webrand of Cedar Falls; one daughter, Becky (Darius) Rindels of Cedar Falls; two grandchildren, Britney Rindels and Austin Rindels; and one brother, Gene (JoAnn) Horner of Asheville, North Carolina.

Sandie was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, James, Robert, and Richard Horner; and one sister, Betty Bruns.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 13, 2008, at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and for one hour prior to service time Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family.
