RUTH BOARDMAN RIDENOUR, 85, of Cedar Falls died Tuesday, October 28, 2003 at Sartori Memorial Hospital of natural causes. She was born April 10, 1918 at Iowa City, Iowa the daughter of Benjamin & Faith I. (Stuntz) Boardman. Ruth married William Edwin Ridenour and they were later divorced. She received a Bachelors of Arts Degree from Iowa State Teacher's College (UNI) and a Masters Degree from the University of Minnesota.
Survivors include her two sons, Stephen (Kimie) Ridenour of Cedar Falls and Lynn (Cheryl) Ridenour of Marshalltown, and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Thomas H. Boardman.
Graveside services were 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 31, 2003 at Fairview Cemetery in Cedar Falls.
