Ruth Lorenz

Ruth E. Lorenz, 75, of Cedar Falls, died  Saturday November 12, 2011, at Allen Memorial Hospital, Waterloo. She was born December 20, 1935, the daughter of John and (Mary) Meyer Weber near Stout. She graduated from Dike High School in 1954. Ruth married Eldon C. Lorenz April 26, 1958 at Nashua, Iowa.  Ruth was a bank teller at Cedar Falls Trust & Savings (U S Bank) for twenty two years and  worked at Frink Greenhouse for five years, retiring in 1999.

She is survived by her husband Eldon Lorenz of Cedar Falls; one daughter Suzanne (Robert) Hampton of Cedar Falls; two  grandchildren, Jamison and Dalton Hampton; two sisters, Dorothy (George) Naber and Marlys (Mike) Schlamp, both of Cedar Falls.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be10:00 a. m. Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the Stout Gospel Hall in Stout. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home. Burial will be at Reinbeck Cemetery, Reinbeck. Memorials may be directed to the family.
