Ruffcorn J Alyce

Alyce J. Ruffcorn, 89, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at NewAldaya Lifescapes. She was born April 2, 1922, in Cedar Falls, Iowa the daughter of Nels and Julia J. (Hansen) Skaarup. Alyce married Donald F. Ruffcorn August 15, 1944 at Nazareth Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls. He preceded her in death December 2, 1998. Before her retirement she worked for Viking Pump, Titus Manufacturing, and Nash Finch.

Alyce is survived by two sisters, Dorthie (Grant) Hook of Cedar Falls and Anita Haynes of Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2011 at NewAldaya Lifescapes Chapel with inurnment in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls. There will bo no visitation.
