ROY M.
KLINEHART was born April 12, 1933, near Ionia, Iowa, the son of Ernest A. and Martha (Mack) Klinehart. He was a veteran of the Korean War and served the U.S. Army in France. He married Marlys R. Kruger, June 1, 1956, at the Colfax Presbyterian Church at Holland, Iowa. He worked for Viking Pump In Cedar Falls, Iowa for 39 years, retiring in 1995. Prior to working at Viking Pump he worked for the Oliver Corporation in Charles City, Iowa.
Roy is survived by his wife, Marlys, of Cedar Falls, Iowa; one son Mark (Kris) Klinehart and one daughter, Lori (Craig) Hilpipre all of Cedar Falls, Iowa; four grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Klinehart, Chelsea and Will Hilpipre; one sister, Verna Gray of Charles City, Iowa and two nieces, Connie (Frank) Francis. of Fort Dodge, Iowa and Julie (Dr. Al) Rice of Scottsdale, Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004 at 10:00 a.m., at Nazareth Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls, Iowa. Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery, Nashua, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the family.
