ROY A. AHLMAN, 82, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, May 31, 2004, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa. Roy was born April 2, 1922 in Duluth, Minnesota, the son of Eric Arvid and Hulda S. (Dunberg) Ahlman. He married Dorothy M. Brokaw on May 21, 1960, at Cedar Heights Presbyterian Church in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Roy served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was the owner of Action Products Inc. in Waterloo, Iowa where he retired in November of 1993.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, of Cedar Falls; one son, Jay T. (Lisa Ann) Ahlman, of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, two daughters, Barbara Anne (Clarence) Renes of Des Moines, Iowa and Penny (John) Livers of Kansas City, Missouri; three grandchildren, Lane, Margot and Jack Livers, and one sister, Alice Carlson, of Hopkins, Minnesota.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services were 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 4, at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to Hartman Reserve or National Spinal Cord Injury Association.
