Ross Heffner

Ross Scott Heffner, 20, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, February 23, 2014, in Austinville, Iowa. He was born March 6, 1993 in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Mark H. and Lisa Marie (Eilderts) Heffner. Ross graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 2011 and attended Hawkeye Community College for two years. He was employed as a foreman with A-Credited Property Management in Waterloo. Ross loved all sports, including snowboarding, wakeboarding, boating, dirt bikes or anything extreme. He is survived by his parents, Mark and Lisa Heffner, of Cedar Falls; twin sister, Alyse Marie Heffner, of Cedar Falls; paternal grandmother, Frances Heffner, of Aplington, Iowa; maternal grandparents, Harry and Marjorie Eilderts, of Parkersburg, Iowa, and his dog, Lexi, and special buddy,Diesel. Ross was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Harold Heffner. Services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2014, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be 47:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family.
