Rollin Richard Perry, Sr., 98, of Cedar Falls, formerly of Waterloo, died Sunday, November 18, 2012, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo. He was born August 19, 1914 at home in Waterloo, the son of Frank and Lulu (Cotton) Perry. Rollin married Marjorie Robeson in Greeley, Colorado. He was a graduate of Waterloo West High School and worked at John Deere in Waterloo for thirty-four years, retiring in 1978. He also farmed for many years in Black Hawk County. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Perry, of Cedar Falls; two sons, Rollin Perry of Cedar Falls and John (Bobbi) Perry of Sterling, Colorado; five grandchildren, Jeff Perry, Shawn Perry, Emily Thode, Todd Perry, Nathan Perry, and fourteen great grandchildren. Rollin was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Milton and Leland Perry, a sister, Leola Brooks, and a daughter-in-law, Colleen Perry. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial at Fairview Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls.
