Robert Laverne "Bob" Jaquith, 76, of Waterloo, died Monday, January 29, 2018, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo.  He was born January 3, 1942 in Waterloo, the son of Harold and Laverna Jaquith.  He married Carol Creighton Macheak in November of 1972 in Waterloo.  Bob was a graduate of Waterloo East High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  He worked at John Deere & Company in Waterloo for 33 years, retiring in 1999 as a Parts Coordinator.  Bob was a longtime member of Cedar Falls AMVETS Post 49.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Jaquith, of Waterloo; two sons, Tony Macheak of Indianapolis, Indiana and Darren Macheak of Waterloo; his brother, James "Jim" (Kitty) Jaquith, of Evansdale, Iowa, and several nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery in Cedar Falls.  Visitation will be 4—6:00 p.m. Monday, and one hour before service, at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made out to "Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home".  Condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
