Robert L Harper
May 18, 1932 — December 12, 2006
Survivors include his wife, Marlene, of New Hartford; two sons, Michael (Barb) Harper of New Hartford and Jack (Karolyn) Harper of Prairie City, Iowa; a daughter, Karen (Jerry) Nielsen of Dike; eight grandchildren, Shelley Horak, Amy Jo (Shane) Warnke, Matthew (Alicia) Harper, Kandice Harper, Chad Harper, Daniel Nielsen, Nick Nielsen and Katie Nielsen; five great grandchildren, Adam Warnke, Grace, Wil and Nile Horak, and Ruby Harper; a sister-in-law, Amy Bailey of Hiawassee, Georgia, and five nephews, David (Joanne) Beall, John Beall, Richard (Jody) Waggoner, Mark Waggoner and Andrew (Carrie) Waggoner.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Kristi Gibbs and a sister, Joan Beall.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am Saturday, December 16, 2006, at New Hartford United Methodist Church. Visitation will be 5—8:00 pm Friday at the church. Interment will be at Fairfield Township Cemetery, near New Hartford. A memorial fund will be established.
