Robert Kevin "Bob" Barnes

Robert Kevin "Bob" Barnes, 65, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, July 12, 2021, at UnityPoint Allen Hospital in Waterloo.  He was born July 2, 1956 in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of Robert Russell and Virginia Isabella (Kristenek) Barnes.  Bob married Margaret Lafkas on May 26, 1979 at First Lutheran Church in Dollar Bay, Michigan.  He was a graduate of Michigan Tech University and was an engineer at John Deere & Company for many years.

Bob is survived by is wife, Margaret Barnes, of Cedar Falls; his son, Jesse (Jessica McMinn) Barnes, of Chicago, Illinois and his daughter, Lauren (Brian Stoecker) Barnes, of Seattle, Washington; his sister, Kathy Baird, of Saginaw and his brother, David (Dana) Barnes, of Louisville, Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
