Survivors include his wife, Anna Heath, of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Sue (Allan) Holms and Tammy (Kim) Davis, both of Waterloo; two sons, Dan (Linda) Heath and Brian (Dawn) Heath, both of Cedar Falls; eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; three brothers, Joe (Janice) Heath of rural Cedar Falls, Leo Heath and James (Teresa) Heath, both of Cedar Falls, and three sisters, Marlene (Jerry) Jeys of Waterloo, Connie (James) Taylor of Cedar Falls, and Phyllis (Quentin) Lane of Janesville.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Donald and Kenneth Heath, and a sister, Bernadine Nielsen.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Monday, July 16, 2007, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with interment at Hillside Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be 4—8:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home, where a 7:00 pm Scripture service will be conducted, and visitation one hour prior to service on Monday. Memorials may be directed to the family.
