Rhonda S. Wilson

Rhonda Wilson, 58, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, January 1, 2015, at the Cedar Falls Health Care Center. She was born January 21, 1956, in Waterloo, the daughter of Robert G. and Betty (Goddard) Hansen. She married Mike Holkamp and they were later divorced. She then married Jeff Wilson and they were also divorced. Rhonda was a graduate of Cedar Falls High School and also attended Hawkeye Tech. She was a customer service representative at Professional Office Services in Waterloo for some years. She was a school volunteer at Valley Park in Cedar Falls, coached soccer in the Cedar Valley Youth Soccer Association and was a huge Chicago Cubs fan. Rhonda also loved her animals, including her cat, Gizmo, and feeding geese at the park. Rhonda is survived by a son, Nicholas Wilson; two daughters, Jessica Wilson and Ashley Wilson, all of Waterloo; her father, Robert Hansen, of Cedar Falls; two grandchildren, Haley and Isaac Wilson; a brother, Michael (Roxanne) Hansen of Mt. Auburn, Iowa, and a sister, Monica Hansen, of Wheat Ridge, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her mother. There will be a private family service at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and a celebration of life service at a later date. Inurnment will be in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.
