Renee Edith Kee, 95, of Traer, Iowa, formerly of Mason City, died Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at Sunrise Hill Care & Rehab Center in Traer. She was born May 4, 1920 in Mason City, Iowa, the daughter of Emery Conrad and Helene Emily (Nicod) Fatland. She married Harry Glen "Bud" Fisher on July 23, 1943, and he preceded her in death in November of 1979. She then married James William "Bill" Kee in November of 1981 in St. Petersburg, Florida. He preceded her in death in November of 1994. Renee was a 1938 graduate of Mason City High School and obtained an Associate's Degree in Accounting from Mason City Junior College. She was an accountant in Mason City and St. Petersburg for many years, retiring in 1985. Renee was a very active member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Mason City for over 50 years. Renee is survived by one son, Tom (Gayle) Fisher, of Isanti, Minnesota; two daughters, Pam Fisher of Cedar Falls and Kathy (Tom) Ludwig of Dysart; seven grandchildren, Ben (Ashton) Fisher, David Fisher, Kaitlyn (Eric) Wolf, Keir Weber, Hayley Fisher, Olivia Fisher and Austin Ludwig; one great-grandchild, Anthony Brooks, Jr. and one sister, Jeanne (Bob) Wilkinson and a daughter-in-law, Judy Fisher. She was preceded in death by her parents and two husbands; one son, Steve Fisher, and one brother, Jack Fatland. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 21, 2015, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be one hour before service. Memorials may be directed to the family.
