RANDALL DOWNING
POTRATZ, 48, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, June 19, 2004 at his home. Randy was born November 27, 1955 at Maynard, Iowa the son of Carl H. & Alice B. (Downing) Potratz. Randy graduated from Maynard West Central High School in 1974, served in the United States Army from 1974 to 1976, then attended and graduated from the University of Northern Iowa where he received a B.A. in Education & Accounting. He was currently employed as a Department Manager at K-Mart in Waterloo.
Survivors include four brothers, Robert C. (Linda) Potratz of Cedar Falls, Ralph E. Potratz of Waterloo, Roy (Jean) Potratz of Janesville, Iowa and his twin brother, Russell C. (Glenda) Potratz of Cedar Falls; and two sisters, Laurel A. Eickhoff of Independence, Missouri and Loyce A. (Ken) Oelrich of Fayette, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at Immanuel Lutheran Church with burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Immanuel Lutheran School or the family.
