Ramona Rogers

Ramona J. Rogers, 85, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, February 8, 2015, at NewAldaya Lifescapes. Ramona was born February 3, 1930 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Frank & Flora (Sprague) Rogers. She was a receptionist at Viking Pump, H & H Machine and Blackhawk Engineering. Ramona is survived by many nieces and nephews, including Deb Christopher, whom she raised as a daughter and was a grandmother to Deb's children. Ramona was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Verna Brown, Mable Dix, Viola Thompson and Bonnie Rogers, and five brothers, Frank Rogers, Jr., Walt, Mel, Myron and Ken Rogers. Services will be 1:30 Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at Nazareth Lutheran Church Chapel with burial at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and one hour prior to service time at the church. Memorials may be directed to the family.
