Phyllis I. Miller, 68, of Waterloo, died Friday, February 24, 2017 at her home. She was born July 12, 1948 in Waterloo, the daughter of Joe and Phyllis (Ash) Aswegan. She married Donald Miller October 26, 1968 in Waterloo.

She is survived by husband, Donald Miller, of Waterloo; one son, Austin Miller, of Troutdale, Oregon and one daughter, April Melton, of El Paso, Texas; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; two brothers, Laverne Aswegan, of Evansdale and Larry (Kathy) Aswegan, of New Hartford; two sisters, Mary (Tony) Landrus, of Anchor Point, Alaska and Letha Childers, of Liberty, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Toby and Roger Bleeker.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Washington Chapel, Cedar Falls, with burial in Washington Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 1 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Dahl-Van Hove Schoof Funeral home in Cedar Falls and one hour before services at the church on Thursday.
