Pauline Ann Pierce, 56, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, August 10, 2010, at her home in Waterloo, of natural causes. She was born July 7, 1954 in Grundy Center, Iowa, the daughter of Reiner D. and Frances (Maxwell) Oltman. Pauline married Don Pierce in 1989, he preceded her in death in 1999. Pauline graduated from Dike High School and went on to receive her CNA certificate from Hawkeye Community College. She tried to spend as much time as she could with her friends and family.
Survivors include her mother, Frances Oltman, of Cedar Falls; one brother, Roger (Barb) Oltman, of Cedar Falls; four sisters, Peggy (Daryl) Sherwood of Dike, Alice Franklin of Cedar Falls, Susan (John) Zahari of Marion, Sheryl (Tom) Jordan of Leavenworth, Kansas, and many nieces and nephews.
Pauline was preceded in death by her father, twin brother Paul, and husband Don.
Private family inurnment services will be at a later date in Lincoln Township Cemetery, rural Dike. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com .
